Support our work

We need you!

As you probably know, our work is currently largely made possible by our own funds. Since 2022, we have been receiving generous support from people who admire our achievements and efforts.

These funds enable us to realise some of the projects we are implementing for the benefit of publishing professionals (the entire industry). In order to further this work and to be even more efficient, we need the security of flexible and long-term funding.

Our work is made possible by the generous support of our funding partners. Access to our data and publications and participation in our activities are free of charge. In order to maintain this public good, which is highly valued and widely used on the continent and internationally, and which continues to build capacity for research, analysis and dissemination of surveys, we need the security of long-term and flexible funding.

Given our direct impact on many parts of the publishing industries, we hope that institutions, as well as individual sponsors, will invest in our efforts to ensure that the book, music and film industries have a say in decisions and actions affecting their professions.

Our intention is to ensure the long-term sustainability of research and the development of innovative solutions for the publishing industries. We have support for our various programmes, including APPI (to train publishers – there is a real need to consider).

If you are sympathetic to our struggle and would like to make a donation or provide other goods, please contact us by email: hello@oapeafrica.org or by phone: (+237) 677 39 62 80.
